Information we collect

• Information you give us: name, phone number, email address, service address details you share, preferred dates, and the content of messages, quote requests and reviews.
• Account information: if you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We never receive your password.
• Payment information: deposits, invoices, packages, plans and gift cards are processed by our third-party payment processor. We receive a confirmation, amount and last-four/receipt reference only — we do not store full card numbers.
• Website usage: pages viewed, referring website, approximate visit time and browser/user-agent, which we also use to tell real visitors apart from search-engine crawlers.

How we use it

To answer quote requests, schedule and perform cleanings, take payment, keep records required for tax and business purposes, improve the website and our services, and — where you have agreed — send occasional offers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed: our website and database host, our payment processor, email/communication tools, and the assistant that answers questions on this site. Our cleaners and independent contractors receive only the details needed for your job. We may also disclose information if required by law, to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect the safety and rights of people or property.

Cookies and similar technology

This site uses a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in, remember that you closed a pop-up, and count visits. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can clear or block browser storage at any time in your browser settings; some features (like staying signed in) will stop working.

How long we keep information

Quote requests and customer records are kept while your account is active and as long as needed for service, warranty, accounting and tax purposes (generally at least four years for financial records), then deleted or anonymized.

How we protect it

Customer data is stored in a hosted database with access controls that limit each account to only what it needs. Owner, developer and administrator accounts are protected by sign-in, and private pages are excluded from search engines. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to a small business.

Your choices and rights

• Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing justmecleanings@gmail.com.
• Reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in marketing email to stop promotional messages.
• Delete your website account at any time by contacting us; records we must keep for tax or legal reasons are retained.
• We honor applicable rights under North Carolina and federal law, and we respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

North Carolina security breach notice

If personal information we hold is compromised, we will notify affected customers and, where required, the North Carolina Attorney General's office, consistent with the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
